Pet Policies

JP Allen Welcomes Your Pets

Several of our apartment buildings are pet friendly.  Check the unit you are previewing to see if it states "Pet Friendly".  Our pet friendly policies are pretty simple.

We allow cats and dogs subject to pet screening, licensed (dogs), spayed/neutered and approval of the breed.  Certain breeds of dogs are not allowed.  The following breeds/crossbreeds are not allowed: Guardian Breed Dogs including, but not limited to, Alaskan Malamutes, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Akita, Bullmastiff, Mastiff, Wolf Dog.  Additional breeds may be added  without notice.    Restrictions do not apply to service dogs necessary to provide ADA access.  Emotional Support dogs (ESA) are accepted with approval of Request for Accomodation.

There are three categories of animals allowed in selected JP Allen Apartment rental properties.  One is a service animal.  One is an emotional support animal.  And the third category is a personal pet.

The following details cover housing your service animal, emotional support animal or pet.

PETSCREENING IS A PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR ALL APPLICANTS AT PET FRIENDLY BUILDINGS

A welcoming environment is paramount to all of our residents. To help ensure ALL of our residents understand our pet and animal-related policies, we use a third-party screening service and require everyone to complete a pet profile, a “no pet” profile, or request accommodation for an assistance animal. This process ensures we have formalized pet and animal-related policy acknowledgments and more accurate records to create greater mutual accountability. If you are unable to complete a profile online and need help please contact your housing provider

If you are applying at any of these properties, please copy and paste the link into your browser to begin the pet screening
